- Can be used on a target that is a Nemesis for another user's Promise.
- Vengeance's tenacity reduction stacks multiplicatively with Fragile.
- If applicable crowd control to Enemy champions or if controlled by them, the promise cast will be disabled for the same period of time as entering combat with them. (note)
- Neither entering combat nor the Crowd Control will disable the cast of Promise before its first cast (when a Nemesis has not yet been designated). (note)
Strategy
- The designation of an effective Nemesis to select with Promise can be determined as follows:
- An enemy champion that deals a lot of damage overall.
- An enemy champion who constantly matches you and disputes your thrusts in the side lane.
- An enemy champion who is far ahead of or poses a much greater threat than other enemy champions.
- An enemy champion who is the only reliable source of physical or magic damage on that team.
- This means that you can choose them as Nemesis and compare them to everyone else.
- An enemy champion who has no Own tenacity and is vulnerable to crowd control.
Curiosities
- When Vengeance is fully stacked, it will effectively act as a ~ 1.43 health multiplier if you are only taking damage (excluding true damage) from the Nemesis.
- Anathema as a word comes from the common Greek (Ανάθεμα) which means Curse or Excommunication.
