Control Sentry is a consumable item in League of Legends. It is exclusive to Summoner's Rift.
Notes
- Sentinels and traps affected by Control Sentry they will be engulfed in a red static discharge and lose sight of allies they reveal in the fog of war until the sentry is destroyed.
- Control Sentry has 4 health points and regenerates 1 health every 3 seconds after 6 seconds of not being attacked.
Strategy
- How support, always have one in the bot lane to clear enemy barriers and keep an eye out for ganks, especially those with stealth.
- Protect the Early Dragon, especially on your first retreat, is a great way to ensure your team has objective control.
- Always have one on hand when no teammate has a Oracle's Lens.
- Use near places of frequent protection pattern, such as near the Dragon or Barón.
Curiosities
- When a Control Sentry has been alive for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, you will get the following benefit:
- Distinguished Order of Longevity and Health Sentinel: Perhaps this sentinel has been protected. Perhaps you have simply sat on a disused lane. Whatever the case, it has persisted for eons into sentry years and joined an ancient royal order of Guards that have lasted a very, very long time.

V8.23- Maximum quantity carried in inventory reduced to 2 from 3.
- New effect: can now also be looted with Cleptomancy.
- Removed: No longer disables cheats.
- Fixed Bug: Eliminated some inconsistencies with how the Control Sentinels Reveal and deactivate sentries.

- Consume: Places a visible room that reveals the surrounding area. This device will reveal and disable nearby sentries and hidden traps, as well as reveal camouflaged units. Control Sentinels do not disable others Control Sentinels.
- Limited to 3 in inventory and 1 on the field (per player).
- Kill a Control Sentry grants 40 experience and 30 .
