Notes
- Leaving a custom game will not count towards your game's left counter.
- Custom games do not count towards Kill / Death / Champion Assist rankings.
- The fact that it is a custom game does not exclude players from the summoners code.
- Not awarded XP after custom games.
- If all real players in a custom game quit, the custom game ends and the players can no longer connect.
- On certain days when there is a lot of server traffic, custom games would require at least 2 real players to start the game. This is done to lessen the load on the system hosting multiple single player games. (From the beginning of the first season, the minimum number of players required can reach 10, if the server is too overloaded with matches.)
Bot Order and Laning in Custom Games
Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to control which bot goes which lane during the custom game setup process. When adding bots to your custom game, regardless of human players on either team, bots will go to a lane as follows:
The first and fourth bots go down, the second and fifth bots go up, and the third bot goes in the middle.
However, the bots will consider where the players have gone once the minions spawn and will fill in the appropriate lanes based on that.

61 out of 145 (42.07%) champions are available as bots.

Custom game type rules
This article is a source of speculation. You can help League of Legends by expanding it or better defining the content.
|
All Random All Medium
These rules only apply to the old version of Summoner's Rift from ARAM.
- Standard Rules ARAM NA
- Standard ARAM Rules EUW
Standard rules
- No side lanes / bushes / jungle.
- Not remembering or walking back to base.
- Other healing is allowed, from abilities or items.
- Buy items only while you're dead.
- Snowball items ( Mejai's Soulstealer y Sword of the Occult) are not allowed.
- The Bloodthirster does not count as a snowball item and is allowed.
- Do not attack neutral campsites or side steps by any means.
- No Teleportation o Revive.
- No Guardian Angel.
- It cannot attack towers or side lane inhibitors.
- You can defend the top or bottom inhibitor only when the adjacent tower has been destroyed.
- Don't defend up / down in base towers.
- Suicide. NA's servers allow them to be run by Mid Towers / Mid Minions and, once dead, you can purchase items.
- EU West - if a kill is the result of an Execution, you cannot purchase items.
- Global suicide ( Twisted Fate o Pantheon passes the living towers) they are not allowed to pass the first living tower.
Possible rule variations
If you are hosting with rule variations, you must announce the changes before the game begins.
- Heal / buy is allowed if the inhibitor is inactive and only if the inhibitor is inactive.
- Suicide may not be allowed.
- Without elixirs.
- Teleportation and Revive can be allowed (individually).
- Global suicide can be allowed (independent of normal suicides.
All drafts All mid
- It follows the same rules as ARAM (All Random All Mid), the only difference is that champions are selected through Draft Pick.
All Yordle All Medium
- It follows the same rules as ARAM, the only difference is that all selected champions must be a Yordle (eg. Teemo, Rumble, Heimerdinger.)
All Random All Bot (Dominion)
- Only the area from the bottom lane to the bottom speed sanctuary is allowed.
- In the US West you are only allowed to go to the midpoint of healing. Side paths with bushes are prohibited. See here.
- I do not remember.
- Other heals are allowed, from abilities, items or healing points.
- Buy items only while you're dead.
- No Garnish or Revive.
- No Guardian Angel.
All Random All Bridge (see ARAM)
- Proving grounds on the bridge
- All random selection
- Otherwise normal ARAM
All Random Shields (Dominion)
- The main objective of this mode is to capture the Storm Shields located in the center of the Dominion map 7 times.
- I do not remember.
- All summoner spells and items are allowed.
- Do not capture any points
- Only 2 players from the same team can capture the shield at the same time.
- Damage traps cannot be placed near shields
- To capture a team's seventh shield, both shields must be up.
Draft Racing
- A variant of the game where the objective is to enter the enemy spawn and die through the Nexus Obelisk located in the enemy spawn pond. Jungle and lane are prohibited, unless a jammer is disabled and you must defend against Super Minions. The Banner of Command item is prohibited. Also, all champions are selected through Draft Pick. Sub-variants of this type of game include Random Racing, a variant where champions are randomly selected, and Team Racing, where you choose which champions you want to use.

PVP Hardcore
- This mode is rumored to be (as the title says) a hardcore PVP situation, where you don't farm minions or jungle mobs, but instead fight to the death.
Protect the Soraka Bot
- Variant of the game where all the normal rules of the game apply, but the objective of the game is to kill, (in any way), the enemy Soraka Bot until he has died 10 times. Spells and items are not prohibited, everything is fair game in this variant of the game. This type of game is also known as "Protect the Queen".
Catch the Teemo
- This game mode has a 10 minute time limit in which the attacking team (the team without Teemo) must kill the Teemo 2 times, while the Defender (the team with the Teemo) must protect it for 10 minutes. While the Teemo can't get out of the jungle, he must keep moving to prevent his passive from being triggered, he can't run down the center lane, he can't run between the towers, and he can't run or remember, everyone else can.
- Catch the teemo
Catch the Yeti
- Limit of 10 kills against the enemy Nunu. The objective of "Catch the Yeti" is to kill the other team's Nunu and at the same time defend your own Nunu. The first team to kill the opposing Nunu 10 times (or 5 for a much shorter game) wins. There is no experience gained from minions, including jungle creeps. This means that Nunu cannot use his Consumption and is therefore very limited in terms of abilities. Nunu cannot return to the base without giving the enemy a point (in short, they are the same rules as catching the teemo).
LoL Football
This game takes place on the Proving Ground in Draft Pick. There are 4 players on each side. The attacking team must be killed by the Nexus Obelisk without counting as a kill for the defending team. The score is calculated by taking the total kills of the attacking team minus the kills of the defending team. The half ends when the defending team destroys the attacking team's Nexus. Then you switch sides in the next game. Whoever has the most points wins. The last ones that can teleport across the map are forbidden, along with Teleportation. Sunfire Cape is prohibited.Find the Teemo
- This variation of the game is played in Dominion or Summoner's Rift. In contrast to finds the Teemo, in this game mode, the Teemo's from each team have a preset time to hide anywhere on the map and let their Innates activate. As soon as both Teemos are invisible, both teams have to find and kill the enemy Teemo before the enemy team.
League Roleplay
- In this game mode, you play a normal game of Summoner's Rift while representing a city-state of Valoran.
- The game is played on Summoner's Rift in Draft Pick mode.
- The size of the teams ranges from 3-5 players.
- Players must choose 1 captain for each team before the start of the game. Then each captain chooses the players for their team (optional, it can also be preset or random) and a city-state to represent.
- Exception: If the chosen city-state does not have enough members to allow all team members to choose a champion, the number of bans is reduced to 1 per team. Example: In a 5v5 game, if a captain chooses to represent The Void, 3 bans leave only 3 potential champions, making it impossible for the other 2 players to play.
- Captains ban random champions who don't belong to any city-states to complete the 2 additional bans.
- In Champion Select, captains ban only champions who belong to the enemy team's city-state. The players then choose champions who belong to their team's city-state.
- The game plays like a normal Summoner's Rift game. The first team to destroy the enemy Nexo wins
- It is appreciated if the player acts as the champion who is playing, either in chat or by any other means.
- Idea original de Nogujoao, LnRaY y Dani a Legend.
Hide and seek
- This variation of the game is generally played on Dominion, but can also be played on Summoner's Rift. Draft Pick is highly recommended, although Blind Pick and Random Pick are possible.
- The time limit can be 40 or 45 minutes.
- The blue team consists of 5 hideouts, and the purple team has 2 seekers.
- When the game begins, the Concealers have until the game timer reaches 2 minutes to move anywhere on the map before the Seekers leave their base and search for them.
- Hiders can use only CC moves to help them or other hiders escape. Heals, shields, and certain other moves are allowed, as long as they don't deal direct damage to seekers.
- Attacking seekers is prohibited, but you can use CC moves to help yourself or another ally escape. However, there is a maximum of 2 caches CC'ing a seeker to avoid permanent slows or stun blocks. Some games have rules where you can kill a seeker if their health is below a certain amount (usually 300 health. You can only kill them if they keep chasing and don't remember).
- Each hidden has five lives. When a hidden person dies, they lose a life. When a hidden person loses his whole life, he is OUT and cannot participate in the game anymore. However, they can run around the Dominion map.
- Once a concealer has respawned, they are allowed a 30 second grace period in which they can enter the map without hindrance from seekers.
- Hideouts can NOT remember, stay on base, or walk back to base at any time.
- Standing on the first step / entrance of the base, however, is allowed.
- Applicants can remember at any time, but cannot cancel once they start remembering. If a seeker reaches 200 CV, he must remember it.
- Items are limited to armor, health, and magic resistance items that do not slow down. However, Guardian Angel is prohibited.
V-Zero
-Link to V-Zero Rules
- A racing game inspired by the Nintendo F-Zero franchise.
- A team runs around the map as indicated in the rules, the first to finish a certain number of laps wins.
- The other team sets up dangerous obstacles to intercept the racing team and create controlled chaos.
- You need some time to prepare in the game.
