Relationships
- Riven was a Noxian soldier sent to Ionia during the invasion of the empire. A traumatic experience during the campaign involving chemicals from Singed made her question her devotion and sever her ties to Noxus, rambling ever since.
- Yasuo suspects that Riven was the one who killed the cornflower Souma, whom Yasuo was supposed to protect ("Wait, that technique... eh", "¿Eh, three quick blows ... "," Another blade of wind? "," Who taught you that?")
- Riven eventually confessed to inadvertently killing Elder Souma: Desperate to erase her past as a Noxian invader and assassin, Riven begged the Elder Master of the master wind to shatter his runeblade, which is the memory of the past. Souma was successful, but a lost fragment struck his neck and killed him.
- The confession cleared Yasuo of the murder, but not of his personal guilt in leaving his post which led to Souma's accidental death and having to kill several brothers, including 7 his own brother.
- His sword was enchanted by LeBlanc, who is apparently trying to get her back.
- Riven Arrel's war sisters Marit and Teneff were assigned to search for her and managed to get her back to Noxus, where she was sentenced to life in prison.
- LeBlanc sent the group's leader, Tifalenji, to retrieve the sword. She was angry when she found out it was broken (and possibly LeBlanc is too).
- Draven finds her a worthy opponent.
- Riven Arrel's war sisters Marit and Teneff were assigned to search for her and managed to get her back to Noxus, where she was sentenced to life in prison.
