When we take these 
weapons, we accept our mission with pride. Free Runeterra from evil, we were told. Kill the corrupt. Send the dirt of the world crawling back to the hole it came out of. Not everyone can handle these weapons. You need a pure heart. A mind without fear. An inner light that outshines all the darkness in the world. I once had that light. Now I'm not so sure.
Everything changed. We knew that our mission was greater than us. The enemy was not "with whom" we fought, but "with what" we fought. Wrong. The Shadow Isles? Just another mess to clean up, just a bunch of ghosts. They were abominations, but nothing we hadn't put in before. Until the day that we face he. Until the day he ripped her out of my life.
Now my enemy has a name. She wouldn't want him to follow her, she knew the risks. But I can't forget her. I will not forget it. I'll hunt down the bastard who took her from me and send him straight to the grave.
