"The Shadow Isles ... They say they don't exist. Mythical islands haunted by ghosts and ghosts. Tales to scare children. But I know. I've been there. When I first stepped there, I knew something immediately. I was wrong with that place. My skin prickled and in the pit of my stomach I felt a terrible revulsion. Life did not belong there. But I also knew… somehow, deep down I knew that the islands welcomed me. They loved me.
As I wandered deeper, I saw death all around me. Ghostly trees, grass, and flowers enveloped me in their hideous glow. It was so peaceful and so beautiful. I ran my hand through a spectral blade fluttering in the wind; But there was no wind. It was then that I understood that death was another world and was at its doorstep.
Then I heard the song; The song of the spider. My partner screamed in terror and fell to his knees. I hugged him. I told him that he had nothing to fear. I was going to a better place. I will take you all to a better place. "-
